, upon receiving the incoming call from the DID provider the PBX starts a logical routing fully programable for the management of the inbound call, first it detects time of the day to determine which of the IVR's messages should respond to the call, next the auto-attendant is selected and the IVR selection menu is offered to the customer for DTMF (Key Pad Entry) selection, then based on this selection the call is routed to an extension, mobile phone, queue or whatever the desired option in the call flow.
